One day Hands-On workshop for Physical therapy students was organised by ISRA Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, Hyderabad Sindh . Mr. Imran Sadiq (Prosthetist & Orthotist) was the Key Facilitator along with Dr. Aqsa Baig (Physical Therapist) , Ahtisham Burney(O&P Tech), M. Sharukh (O&P Tech), and Shahzad N Alam (Electrician cum Helper).Focus of training was to provide the basic and technical information about how to make Hand splints, and which type of upper limb orthoses are available in the market.Students got chance to work with patients and materials during the training.They made WHO for patients and delivered them.They learned the techniques , types and materials of upper limb orthoses. It was ended with very encouraging response and feedback was to organize more training workshops of such kind.The dedication of Mr. Imran Sadiq & his team efforts were applauded by Facaulty of IIRS.
